sorry for the nonsensical posts, but i've been testing a couple of different ways to post to my blog without going to my site all time.  I've settled on the ScribeFire Firefox addon which plays nice with drupal.  Twitter is great, but sometimes i just can't contain myself to 140 characters.....on with the show....

maybe this try will work?  I guess we'll see......

just trying out a couple of ways to remotely post to my blog and see if updates twitter/FB for me....

I've been twittering a lot (not really), but there are some cases where the 140 character limit given to me by twitter just isn't enough. I'm going to try to find a way to have the ease of creating an entry like on twitter, but have it post to my blog and have my blog auto tweet (which I'm testing with this post) that I have a new post. I've seen other folks (like @wilw) do it, so why can't I? Not that this will replace my twittering, but it gives me an avenue to express myself (did I just say that?) beyond 140 characters if I need to.

ok, its been less than 3 months since my last post....quite an improvement.

As soon as the 15" of snow we got before christmas finally melted, mother nature decides to take another wintry crap on on us and is currently depositing another 4"-6". We've gotten more snow in the last 3 weeks than we have in the last 3 years. I moved to Washington to get away from the snow!

Christmas was good. Got and gave lots of good stuff. 2009 will be interesting.....

i've been neglecting it, i know......

here's a quick update to get you all caught up.....

1) Kieran turned 4
2) we went to Disneyland
3) Allison turned 1
4) Rach's dad came to visit
5) Kieran started preschool
6) Football season started
7) my dad came to visit
8) we went to the zoo
9) kids went trick or treating
10) Rach and I had our 5th anniversary
11) some nice gentleman helped me update my site without asking. While I appreciate the effort, I didn't quite agree with the copy he chose, so its been reverted back to its original state. Thanks anyway!

that's about it.....see you again in 4 months :)

wow, it only took me less than 3 months to write another blog post.....

This site is going to get a facelift to demphasize my blog and highlight my other social networking/web 2.0-ey type things I'm doing, like twitter, digg, last.fm, etc.

I'll still post random junk and updates from time to time, but I'm just not going to highlight my blog any more....

Even though I'm a Purdue alum, I'll always have a special place in my heart for Bob Knight. I had the good fortune of meeting him about 8 years ago. Couldn't have been a nicer guy....
